FAQ

What if my dog bombed out of obedience 101?

No worries! Your dog’s photo session will be about memories, not certificates. Tire him out before coming to the session, bring a leash, and his favorite treats and toys, and it’ll be all good. And know this: what happens at your dog’s photography experience, stays at your dog’s photography experience.

Can you elaborate more on the process and how it all works?

Yes, of course! We’ll start with a short, free, no obligation consultation to find out what you’re looking for in your photography experience, as well as to learn about your pet so we can tailor your experience around the outcome you want. We’ll field any questions you may have during this call, as well.

You may book a session on any available date and time. Once your session is booked, we’ll follow-up with information to help you prepare for you pet’s session.

On the day of the shoot, we’ll meet at our pre-determined location and get about the business of making your pet’s day special and fun-filled

Your images will be ready for review within two weeks. We’ll review your images either in person or over a video call. We’ll let you know which ones we prefer and why, but ultimately the choice as to which images you’d like to include in your package will be yours.

How many pets can I bring to each session?

Bring all of the dogs in your household. If you bring more than one, be sure to also bring crates and toys so the dogs have someplace comfortable to be during solo sessions, breaks or while awaiting their turn.

Do you photograph other types of animals besides dogs?

Yes, absolutely. We love all domesticated animals/mammals.

Can children take part in pet portrait sessions also?

Yes, we are happy to include children over four in your dog’s photography experience. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to include your child(ren) in your pet’s photo shoot.

Do you do both studio and location shoots?

Yes, we offer both options. For location shoots, we photograph in any one of several locations for which we are permitted. We photograph in-studio at our Gig Harbor location.

What happens if our location shoot is weathered out on our session day?

You will have the option of rescheduling or moving your shoot to our indoor studio, or some combination thereof.

How should I prepare my furry family member for his or her photo session?

You’ll want to present them at their best. Read our informational post here for tips on getting them ready.

Do you do Adventure dog/cat photos?

Yes, when we’re not capturing cherished memories of your furry loved ones, we are out exploring the Pacific Northwest’s bounties. Contact us about adventure photography options.

How long from the time the session is completed until I receive my products?

We take up to 14 days to get your proofs to you. Once you’ve selected your final images for print/production, the labs with which I work generally turn orders around in two weeks or so. I work with only the best labs to ensure your products are worthy of a central place in your home.

Which areas do you service?

We service the greater Puget Sound area and the central Washington coast, which include Pierce (Tacoma, Lakewood, Puyallup, etc.), King (Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, etc.) and Grays Harbor (Ocean Shores, Aberdeen, Hoquiam, etc.) counties.

What if I don’t like my images or products?

If, after our image review, you find that you don’t want to print any of the images taken, you can choose to either reshoot the session or get 100% of your money back in the form of refund. Either way, the choice is yours.

If you are dissatisfied with one or more of your printed produces, you will have the choice of having it/them redone, or of being refunded for the purchase. Again, either way, the choice is yours.
